About the course

Our SophroKi® Sophrology Practitioner Diploma combines over 30 years of experience in Sophrology. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to set up your own Sophrology practice and start helping clients with their health and wellbeing journey.

You will also experience first-hand the benefits of Sophrology as you go on a transformational self-development journey and boost your own inner-fitness and health.

Course Description

Our courses are a blend of online learning and self-study and can be taken from anywhere in the world, with personal daily training and self-study assignments. It also includes two online intensive weeks (5 days each) with the exciting option for the second intensive week to be taken in-person amidst the beautiful Swiss Alps!

There are two possible pathways to earn your diploma:

  • Hybrid (blended online + in-person) — recognised by Swiss ASCA and ISF
  • Online only — recognised by ISF

Both options provide a comprehensive foundation in sophrology techniques and practical skills — empowering you to support your own wellbeing as well as establish your own practice and guide others on their health and wellbeing journey.

This course has a flexible, part-time learning style, and our professional trainers will support you to complete your diploma around your current job or family responsibilities.

Sophrology Practitioner Diploma (18-month course)

Level 1: Weekly 2hr sessions for 10 weeks.
Level 2: Weekly 2hr sessions for 10 weeks.
Online Intensive
Level 3: Weekly 2hr sessions for 10 weeks.
Level 4: Weekly 2hr sessions for 10 weeks.
Final In-Person Intensive

  • Live online classroom sessions over the course of 18 months
  • Individual daily exercises; 15 and 20-minute with self-reflection
  • Projects between the 4 levels; theory and research
  • Practical experience of running a class of 8 sophrology lessons for 6 or more people
  • 2 x 5-day intensives

Note: for ASCA recognition, you must have at least an 80% attendance record and take part in 10 in-person days.

The SophroKi® Practitioner Diploma costs CHF 8,475. This includes the 2 x 5-day online intensives.
The course organiser reserves the right to make necessary changes to the structure, date, and time of the course.

Flexible payment options are available.

  • Payment in full of CHF 8,475.
  • Payment of CHF 2,475 registration fee followed by 12 installments of CHF 500 per month.
  • Payment of CHF 1,275 registration fee followed by 18 installments of CHF 400 per month.

Certification

The diploma as a Sophrology Practitioner is awarded after completion of the foundation course, personal training, written and oral examinations, and a work project.

NOTE: This certification allows you to set up a Sophrology practice. This certification DOES NOT give you the right to set up your own Sophrologists training school, or to qualify your own clients as Sophrologists.

The Sophrology Diploma Certificate is awarded by Raison d’Hêtre Sàrl, Begnins, Switzerland. Your qualification will be recognised by the International Sophrology Federation. For additional requirements to set up your own practice, please refer to your own country guidelines, they differ based on the country of residence.

The teachers are all professionally trained Master Sophrologists.

Accreditation

Raison d’Hêtre is an accredited school by ASCA; the Swiss Association of Therapists. For Swiss residents who want to become ASCA members, this course covers cycle 2. You will have to cover cycle 1 (Training in academic medicine: anatomy, physiology, pathology) separately, or be exempt from it depending on your profession (list of exempted professions).
